On 11 June 2025, the AI4CUAV project was showcased during a major conference on
defence, strategic autonomy, and technological innovation, hosted by Link Campus
University in Rome. Link Campus is also a partner of the AI4CUAV project.
The project was presented through a dedicated slide deck during one of the conference
sessions, as part of a broader effort to promote visibility and engagement with key
stakeholders.
The event gathered institutional representatives, defence industry leaders, and research
experts to discuss topics such as critical raw materials, European defence readiness,
innovation in armoured vehicles, and the role of artificial intelligence in security and defence.
Notable speakers included high-level officials from the Italian Ministry of Defence, Ministry
of Economy, and industry executives from Rheinmetall and Iveco Defence Vehicles.
Participation in the event provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate the AI4CUAV
project and strengthen its visibility within the European defence innovation ecosystem.
