Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina — January 13, 2026 — The International University of Sarajevo (IUS), a partner institution of the Ai4CUAV project recently hosted a series of educational sessions attended by more than 100 high school students, using the opportunity as a key dissemination activity for the project.
As part of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Büyükdağlı delivered a lecture titled “Introduction to AI for Drone Detection”, introducing students to the role of artificial intelligence in defense systems, current drone threats, and the critical importance of early detection technologies. The Ai4CUAV project team shared practical results and real-world implementations.
The session generated strong interest and engagement among participants, raising awareness of AI-driven counter-UAV technologies and inspiring the next generation of IT professionals. This event marks another successful dissemination milestone for the Ai4CUAV project.
