Ai4CUAV project team recently organized a dynamic and interactive workshop titled “AI Pipeline – From Data to Model Application on Drone Detection” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Almisreb from International University of Sarajevo.The workshop was designed to introduce participants to the practical aspects of artificial intelligence applications in the growing field of drone detection and defense. Through a combination of theoretical insights and live demonstrations, students and researchers explored the full AI development cycle — from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.Assoc. Prof. Dr. Almisreb guided attendees through real-world examples, showcasing how data from various sensors can be processed and transformed into effective AI models capable of detecting drones. Participants had the opportunity to work hands-on with contemporary AI tools and platforms, gaining valuable experience in building end-to-end solutions for security and defense applications.
